Ingredients for Honey Garlic Chicken:
Olive oil - 2 tsp. (or canola oil)
Chicken breast - 1 1/2 lb. (boneless, skinless, and cubed)
Salt and Pepper - to taste
Honey - 3 tbsp.
Soy sauce - 3 tbsp. (low-sodium)
Garlic - 3 cloves (minced)
Red pepper flakes - 1/4 tsp. (optional, adjust for heat)
Steamed rice - for serving (optional)
Method of preparing the Honey Garlic Chicken:
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and brown on one side for about 4 minutes.
  2. Now, make the glaze. In a small bowl whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Add the sauce to the pan and toss to coat the chicken pieces. Cook for 4-5 more minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Serve with steamed rice and a veggie of your choice.
