The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, “the funniest and most popular photography competition in the world,” according to the award organizers, recently announced its winning images for its 2023 edition. This competition, founded in 2015 by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, two professional photographers and passionate conservationists, showcases hilarious pictures of wildlife from around the world.
This contest, open to novices, amateurs, and seasoned experts, celebrates the hilarity hidden in our natural world while shedding emphasis on the critical steps required for its protection.

This photograph, taken in the lush environs of Ubud's Monkey Forest in Bali, captures the regal reign of monkeys. These monkeys control their territory, whether amusing audiences with impromptu shows or playfully examining visitors for fleas or pilfering snacks. An especially dashing primate pulls a dashing stance for the camera.
