The Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2021 are back! Created by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, the competition started a few years ago in an attempt to celebrate the positive and significant roles pets play in people’s lives. While the pictures they feature reveal the humorous side of pets, the organization aims to increase awareness about animal welfare through them and raise monetary help for animal charities.
The organizers have released some of the best entries of the 2021 edition of the competition recently, though the contest is open for submissions until August 15. This little sneak peek, which includes photobombing dogs, cheeky horses, and chicks watching TV, is sure to put a smile on your face and make you chuckle.

"I'm gonna get that ball!" by Lee Carpenter
The photographer loves taking shots of his dogs in action and this one shows one of his beloved ones, Molly, determined to catch a ball.
"Puppy Laugh" by Arthur Carvalho de Moura
The photographer says that his dog Hassan is an extremely agitated dog and it's really difficult to get a nice shot of him. In this one, though, the puppy thankfully chose to pose and leave a smile.

Chloe was trying to take a photo of her best friend and her husband when her dog Hugo decided to make his forced entry into the frame.

This is the photographer's mother's beloved cat all tucked in and clearly signaling that she clearly doesn't want to be disturbed.

Melanie Allen's dog Trooper is fondly called Professor Sir Didymus when he gets all bossy.
"Ninja Rats" by Memphis Morey
Morey caught two rats play fighting and on some occasions during the fight, they would stand in this position for a few minutes before continuing.

Mike Batho's cat Eddie just loves to spread out on the couch and stay there for hours.

Here, the photographer's dog Bailey badly wanted to be the center of attention in the photo.
