The Breathtaking Historical Landmarks of Nara, Japan

In the distant 7th century, the capital of Japan was Nara, and to this day, it retained its aristocratic beauty and is a UNESCO protected site due to the many historical monuments that can be found in the ancient city. This beautiful, meditative video will take you through those very historical landmarks, including the Great Buddha Hall and Nigatsu-Do Hall of the Todai-ji Temple, a Buddhist temple. After that, you’ll be taken to the red Kasuga Taisha Shrine, an ancient Shinto shrine established in 768, as well as the 5-storied Gojū-no-Tō pagoda and the adjacent Kōfuku-ji and Hōryū-ji temples.
