These DNA molecular visualizations were created as a resource to help teachers all around the world teach what the actual mechanism for building DNA in the cells really looks like. The dynamics and molecular shapes were based on X-ray crystallographic models and other published scientific data sets. Much effort was made to make sure that all the relative shapes, sizes and dynamics, moment to moment, were as accurate as possible.
