1. Mercedes AMG Concept GT
This fire-breathing four-door coupe is a hybrid concept car that's capable of accelerating to 60mph in under 3 seconds. Although you can't actually buy one, an AMG (think of it as a Mercedes' Skunkworks) insider told the press that this concept car is extremely close to an eventual Mercedes-AMG sports car that will go on sale in the near future.
2. Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e
This gorgeous convertible version of Bentley's EXP 10 Speed 6 concept represents the first time that Bentley has created a vehicle that's all-electric. Although it's not currently earmarked for production, industry insiders believe that a version of it will go on sale to the general public within the next five years.
3. McLaren 720S
This brand-new, mid-range McLaren is the replacement for one of the British manufacturer's core cars, which started life as the 12C, then later was developed into the 650S and 675LT models. The 710bhp 720S is said to incorporate all the lessons McLaren learned since its first foray into series-production road cars back in 2009. Fancy one? That'll be $285,000 please, sir!
4. Ferrari 812 Superfast
Ignoring the limited edition LaFerrari and LaFerrari Aperta models, the 812 Superfast is the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever. It's 6.5-liter V12 engine churns out a ridiculous 789bhp, and it's believed that it will be the very last Ferrari to be powered by a normally-aspirated, non-hybrid V12 engine. It's expected to cost in excess of $330,000 when it goes on sale.
5. Lamborghini Huracan Performante
The hardcore version of Lamborghini's "baby" model has just smashed the lap record for a production car at the Nurburgring, the world's most demanding racetrack. This feat is all the more impressive considering the slew of hypercars that have been released in recent years - think McLaren P1 and Porsche 918. The Huracan Performante goes on sale in the summer.
6. Alpine A110
The original Alpine A110, pictured above on the right, is a legend in its own right. This new model aims to recapture some of that magic by employing the same formula - a decent amount of power with very low weight. The car will not be available for sale in the US, however it's expected to cost in the region of 50,000 euros in Europe.
7. Mercedes-Maybach G650 Laundaulet
This outrageous limited edition Mercedes-Benz G-Class will be limited to just 99 units when it goes on sale this coming August. It's powered by a 621bhp, 6.0-liter V12 engine and features a convertible roof for the occupants in the third row of seating. The G650 Laundaulet is expected to cost in excess of $500,000.
8. Range Rover Velar
This car will become the fourth Range Rover in the company's model lineup, and it has been called the most "car-like" model from the company to date. It's intended to rival the similarly-sized and priced Porsche Macan, with the starting price in the US thought to be around $50,000.
9. Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo
The concept car pictured above was initially shown to the world in 2012, but now the production-ready version of it has made its debut, and you can barely tell the difference between them! The "shooting brake" body style will see Porsche's Panamera range becoming a lot more practical, and a whole lot more cool.
10. Peugeot Instinct Coupe
Although it has "coupe" in its name, the Instinct is actually a shooting brake body style, like the Panamera Sport Turismo you just saw above. Nevertheless, the concept points to a new styling direction for Peugeot, as well as depicting how vehicle autonomy could be applied practically to vehicles of the future.
11. Renault Zoe e-Sport
The Renault Zoe is actually the most popular electric car on sale in Europe today, so it was only a matter of time before Renault showed us a sporty version of it, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The 460bhp Zoe e-Sport draws on lessons learned in Formula E, an all-electric racing series that Renault is heavily involved in.
12. TAMO RaceMo
This interesting little car actually comes from India, with TAMO being a sub-brand of Tata Motors. It's powered by a 190bhp turbocharged engine, and has been created to rival the Mazda MX5, the staple little sports car of the last 30 years. A neat little party trick that this car has is scissor doors, just like a Lamborghini!
13. Pagani Huayra Roadster
Horacio Pagani is known for cars that amount to automotive art, and his latest creation, the Huayra Roadster, is no exception. Although the Huayra coupe has been around for a few years now, the Roadster features new styling, more power and a negligible weight gain (open-topped cars are generally always heavier than their hard-topped counterparts). The base price for a Huayra Roadster is $2.5 million.
14. Ford Fiesta ST Mk VII
The last-generation Ford Fiesta ST took the hot hatchback market by storm, and was raved about by motoring journalists the world over. This latest incarnation of the sporty Fiesta actually has a smaller engine, but even more power than the outgoing car. It's a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder EcoBoost unit that produces 197bhp. The car goes on sale in 2018.
15. Aston Martin Valkyrie
This Aston Martin was actually developed in conjunction with the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team and its maverick, multi world-championship-winning designer, Adrian Newey. Only 150 of them will be made, and even if you want one, you can't have one, because they're all sold out!
