The health and appearance of our facial skin are crucial, and they largely depend on proper blood flow. A facial massage can boost blood and lymphatic activity, leading to fewer wrinkles, reduced eye bags, and a refreshed appearance with improved skin tone. In the Far East, a unique massage technique has been developed - the spoon and water massage - that can be easily done at home. This method is widely practiced in Japan, Korea, and China and has now gained popularity in Europe as well. To save you the trouble of traveling far for this treatment and to help you achieve great results, we have compiled a list of ten exercises that can help reduce, eliminate, and prevent wrinkles on your facial skin.
If you want to eliminate the bags under your eyes, simply take two cold spoons and place them on the convex side under your eyes. Then, move them up, down, and sideways for a minute or two, as shown in the left picture. To reduce swelling, close your eyes and place two cold spoons on them for a few minutes. Let the spoons warm up slowly, dip them in cold water again, and repeat the process about 5-7 times.
To reduce wrinkles between your eyebrows, place a cold spoon on the top of your nose and gently move it up toward the top of your forehead. Alternate with a hot spoon and repeat the process about 10 times.
To get rid of wrinkles on the sides of your eyes, try a similar technique with a cold spoon. Place it on the sides of your eyes and move it gently in a circular motion. Repeat this process for a few minutes every day to see results. To reduce wrinkles around your eyes, try using the cold spoon method. Simply place two spoons on the convex side of the outer edges of your eyes and move them in a circular motion toward your temples with increasing pressure. Switch to warm spoons and repeat the exercise five times, alternating between spoon types each time.
For enhancing the look of your eyes, take two warm spoons and place them on the inner side of your eyebrows. Use circular movements to slide them along your eyebrows towards the temples while lifting your eyebrows gently. Repeat this exercise about 10 times for better results.
To eliminate forehead wrinkles, take two warm spoons and place them on the center of your forehead, convex side down. Move them in circular motions towards your temples, or stretch the skin with the spoons without circular movements. Repeat the process and reheat the spoons when they cool down, making the total massage time about 3 minutes.
To minimize the appearance of laugh lines, follow these simple steps. Slightly open your mouth and pucker your lips. Then, put two warm spoons under your nose and move them in circular motions toward the sides of your mouth. Repeat this action 5–7 times and return the spoons to the starting position.
To get rid of a double chin, put your palms below your chin and gradually stretch the skin towards your ears in circular motions. Warm up your palms again if they get cold and repeat the exercise around ten times.
For tighter cheeks, place two warm spoons at both ends of your mouth and move them in a circular motion toward your ears. Repeat this exercise about six times, and warm up the spoons again. Open your mouth slightly to smile, as shown in the picture, and repeat the exercise once more. By following these steps, you can achieve the desired results.
This exercise is designed for people who want to protect the skin of their chest, especially women who walk with cleavage. To perform this exercise, place your palms on the solar plexus area and massage your chest in circular motions toward your collarbones. Then, alternate between hot and cold spoons to complete the massage. For those who have tight neck muscles, using a warm spoon and gently moving it toward the collarbone can help relax these muscles. Repeat this on both sides about 10 times for best results.
To ease tension in your neck muscles, simply grab a warm spoon and position it under one ear as shown on the left. Apply gentle pressure as you move the spoon towards your collarbone. Repeat the process on the other side, and perform this action for about 10 times on each side for the best results.
