Walnut Oil Vinaigrette

For a neutral but nutty-tasting flavor, you may want to experiment with this delicious walnut oil vinaigrette. Although it uses walnut oil, it's easily adaptable for interesting variations, such as using pistachio or hazelnut oil instead. It will blend in subtly with any of your salads.

Ingredients for Walnut Oil Vinaigrette:
Red wine vinegar - 1/4 cup
Shallots - 2 tbsp. (minced)
Walnut oil - 2 tbsp.
Honey - 2 tbsp.
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
Method of preparing the Walnut Oil Vinaigrette:
  1. Stir all ingredients together using a whisk.
  2. Use immediately or transfer into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
