Summer’s on the way, and I’m thinking about all the luscious foods I can cook on the grill. But soon enough, the novelty of hot dogs and hamburgers tends to wear off. What about fruit? After all, the grill isn’t just for cooking meat – you can cook amazingly healthy and mouth-watering veggie sides, fruits and even desserts. Here is a full-fruit BBQ plan.

Clean the grill, oil it and set it to medium-high heat.

Drizzle the cantaloupe slices with honey and smoked paprika. Grill indirectly for 6 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear. Drizzle with honey and serve.

Brush the apples with butter and sprinkle them with cinnamon. Grill indirectly for 6 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear.

Thread the strawberries and the halloumi cheese on the skewers. Grill the skewers for 60 seconds each side and serve with vanilla ice cream.
Chef's Tip:
If you can't find halloumi cheese, switch them for 15 mozzarella balls.
