Microwave Cinnamon Roll

Cinnamon rolls usually take a long time to make, and it's not so easy to make the perfect cinnamon buns either. Shorten the wait for cinnamon goodness with this 3-minute recipe.

Ingredients for icing:
Cream cheese - 1 tbsp.
Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.
Milk - 1 tsp.
Ingredients for roll:
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Buttermilk - 1 tbsp.
Vanilla Extract - 1/4 tsp.
All-Purpose flour - 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp.
Light brown sugar - 2 1/2 tbsp.
Ground cinnamon - 3/4 tsp.
Nutmeg - a pinch (optional)
Baking powder - 1/4 tsp.
Salt - a pinch
Method of preparing the icing:
  1. Combine all ingredients gradually in the order listed. Set aside.
Method of preparing the roll:
  1. Combine all the ingredients, and whisk with a fork, until it is smooth.
  2. Microwave for 1 minute on high. Add an additional 15 seconds if it is not fully baked.
  3. Serve warm and top with the icing, some extra cinnamon and nutmeg.
