Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet.
In a small skillet, cook the bacon until brown and crispy on medium-high heat, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels, let cool, and crumble.
Arrange the avocados on the sheet and crack an egg into each avocado half. Season with salt and pepper.
Top each avocado boat with bacon and bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven. The avocado is ready when the eggs have reached your desired readiness level.
Transfer the avocados to a plate and top with the chopped chives before serving.
