Creamy Tomato Pasta with Sausages

Looking to add some variety to your weeknight dinner? Try this creamy tomato pasta with sausages. It's super simple and quick to make and will be an extremely creamy and satisfying meal. Have it with some garlic bread and you will love it even more!

Creamy Tomato Pasta with Sausages

Ingredients for Creamy Tomato Pasta with Sausage:

Italian sausage - 1/2 lb. (hot, mild or sweet)

Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)

Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.

Crushed tomatoes - 1 (28-oz) can

Italian seasoning - 1 tsp.

Water - 1/2 cup

Pasta - 1/2 lb.

Heavy cream - 1/3 cup

Spinach - 4 oz. (fresh)

Method of preparing the Creamy Tomato Pasta with Sausage:

In a deep skillet or pot add the Italian sausage and cook over medium heat. Break it up into pieces as it cooks. Add the garlic to the browned sausage. Sauté for another minute.
Add the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and water. Stir properly. Make sure to dissolve the browned bits off the bottom of the skillet. Let the sauce come to a simmer. As it begins to simmer, cover the pot with a tilted lid and turn the heat down to medium-low. After 10 minutes, stir in the cream and spinach.
Cook and drain the pasta in another pot.
Mix everything and serve hot.
