Sandwich makes for a nice snack. But this Avocado club sandwich will be more than enough to fill you up during lunch or dinner. It's filling and full of hearty flavor. The combination of smoky, rich, crunchy, and savory will leave you pleasantly surprised.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Gently mix all coconut bacon ingredients until the coconut is coated.
Line a baking sheet and spread the coconut. Bake 10 to 14 minutes, flipping the pan halfway through.
Let the coconut bacon cool. Slice the avocado and tomatoes. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on the tomato slices.
Apply mayo on both sides of the bread. Layer the bottom bread slice with cheddar and provolone cheese. Then add tomato slices and avocado slices to it. Top with a sprinkle of bacon and the romaine lettuce. Add the other slice of bread and serve.
Chef's Tip:
This recipe offers a vegan alternative to bacon. You can go with classic bacon too.
