Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine all the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a larger bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, except for the chocolate.

Add the dry mix to the large bowl and mix everything until well combined.

Pour the batter into a well-oiled 8x8-inch baking tray. Sprinkle the top with the reserved chocolate.

Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Then cool, cut, and serve.
Chef's Tip:
This can easily be made vegan/dairy-free by using plant-based milk.
