Mix all ingredients, apart from the sugar and milk powder, in one bowl.

Next, add the powdered sugar and whisk through. Add the milk powder in batches, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring after each batch.

Knead the batter until it becomes brown and slightly sticky. Let sit 10 minutes.

Rub a knife with butter and cut the batter into small shapes. Shape them as needed to make a toffee shape.
