Bring sugar and water to a boil in an oven. Remove from heat and stir properly to ensure sugar is dissolved. Add raspberries, tea bags and lemon juice. Steep for 3 minutes while covered. Now strain and discard berries and tea bags.

Move the tea to a large pitcher. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
