Cut both ends off the banana, then place it, peel and all, into boiling water (use one small pot). Let the banana cook for around 10 minutes. Use a colander to pour the banana water into a mug. If you like, you may sprinkle some cinnamon or add honey at this point. Drink the tea one hour before bedtime.

The leftover banana is pretty tasty too. You can enjoy it as is, peeled or unpeeled, with chocolate sauce, or in smoothies, oats, and such.
