Kids will love how these eggs look like fluffy clouds on a plate! Cloud eggs make an easy yet fun breakfast or lunch for the little ones. And best of all, only 2 ingredients are needed to prepare them.
Ingredients for Cloud Eggs:
Method of preparing the Cloud Eggs:
-
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C).
-
Crack and separate each egg. Place each egg yolk in a ramekin or small glass, to keep its shape until needed.
-
Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks.
-
Add the grated parmesan to the egg whites and carefully and slowly fold it into the egg whites.
-
Line a baking sheet. Spoon the egg white mixture onto the lined baking sheet so that they form a cloud shape. Using a tablespoon, create a small dip in the center of each cloud - this is where the egg yolks will go.
-
Bake the egg whites for 5 minutes, or until slightly golden on top.
-
Now it's time to add the yolks. Transfer the egg yolks to the middle of each baked egg white cloud. Bake for 3-4 more minutes, or until the egg yolks reach your desired consistency.
-
Remove from the oven and serve right away.
Chef's Tip:
This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled.
