When it comes to food, we all have our own favorite guilty pleasures. But few things can compare to a delicious plate of well-marinated chicken wings. Thanks to the slow cooking process, the wings will absorb all the sauce and the meat will fall right off the bone.
In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and apple cider vinegar until smooth. Pour into a slow cooker and add the hot sauce, honey, garlic, and butter. Stir.
Add the drumsticks, season well with salt and pepper and toss to coat.
Cook on high for about 3 hours. If all the chicken is about fall-off-the-bone tender, serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Chef's Tip:
Crispiness boost: after slow cooking, broil the wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, for 15 minutes at 300°F.
