Mix the flaxseed with 3 tbsp water. Let sit 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 360°F. Line a 9x9 inch baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk the flour, salt and baking soda.

In another bowl, using an electric mixer to beat the sugars and margarine until fluffy.

Mix moist ingredients into dry ones. Add the vanilla extract, date honey, and flaxseed mix and stir until smooth.

Add in the chocolate chips. Save some aside for garnish.

Pour into the baking dish, top with the rest of the chocolate chips, and bake for 15-17 minutes or until the corners brown, but no longer.
