Method of preparing the breakfast muffins:

Butter a muffin baking dish. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Using stencils, or a small glass, cut out circles from the bread slices. Each circle will be a muffin.

Slightly roast the bacon, until starts to slightly curl, but not until it's fully cooked- don't let it darken. Set aside.

Chop and sauté the mushrooms. Arrange the bacon and the mushrooms in the tray like so:

Crack an egg in each muffin pot, and season as you'd like. Don't stir.
