Green Protein Smoothie

If you like the idea of a green smoothie but find that it never fills you up, this recipe is for you. While it is completely plant-based and vegan, this smoothie is also filled with protein, antioxidants, and tons of vitamins.

Ingredients for Green Protein Smoothie:
grapefruit juice - 1/2 cup
Kale - 1 cup (stems removed)
Apple - 1 large (cored and chopped)
Cucumber - 1 cup (chopped)
Celery - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Hemp seeds - 4 tbsp.
Mango - 1/4 cup
Fresh mint leaves - 1/8 cup
Coconut oil - 1/2 tbsp.
Ice cubes - 4
Method of preparing the Green Protein Smoothie:
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on a high speed until smooth. Adding a touch of water can help the mix blend easier.
  2. Pour in a glass and enjoy.
Chef's Tip:
Pour the smoothie into popsicle molds and enjoy a frozen treat the kids will love as well!
