Add as many flavorings at the blending step as you like. We suggested salt and garlic, but you can also add some onion powder and maybe even crushed herbs!

Method of preparing the quinoa tortillas:

Soak the quinoa for 3 hours. Strain and rinse, then strain again.

Process in a blender with 1 cup of water and flavorings to your liking- we like garlic and salt.

Only once the batter is smooth, heat a non-stick pan and add a splash of olive oil.

Use 1/4 cup portions of batter per tortilla, spreading it evenly on the pan. Cool each tortilla on a wire rack- don't stack!

Oil the pan between each tortilla.
Chef's Tip:
Before soaking the quinoa, you can roast it to add flavor. Bake on a lined baking sheet in a preheated 350°F oven until roasted and fragrant. Let cool completely.
