Steak doesn’t get any tastier than a perfectly marinated and grilled Carne Asada. After you have tried this recipe, this is the only way you’ll eat a piece of delicious steak ever again. This version of this Mexican carnivorous delight will leave your kitchen almost without a mess, too! Just follow the instructions and use the marinating trick to keep the preparation clean and tidy.
Method of Preparation:
-
Place the steak in a gallon-sized resealable bag. Add the lime juice, orange juice, jalapeno, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, white vinegar, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Remove the excess air before sealing the bag tightly.
-
Massage the steak so that it gets coated in the marinade. Allow the steak to marinate in the fridge for around 2 hours, or overnight.
-
Remove the steak from the bag and throw away the excess marinade.
-
Heat a grill over a high heat, and once it’s hot, cook the steak until it’s done to your liking. After cooking, allow the steak to sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve warm.
