M&M’s have been going since the 1940s, but their famous slogan “Melts in your mouth, not in your hand," actually show us something of their unusual and surprising beginning. The trademark candy-covered chocolate method was in fact devised for soldiers’ food packs, enabling them to carry chocolate without it melting everywhere.
