During the 1979 Secret Policeman’s Ball, a young and relatively unknown actor came on stage wearing a tuxedo and white gloves and set on a bench, as if he’s ready to play a grand recital. That man was called Rowan Atkinson who later became famous for his roles as Black Adder and later, Mr. Bean. The sketch is called “The Piano Player” and it shows Atkinson’s superb comedic timing and agility. |
