Wild life cameraman Gordon Buchanan came face to face with a ravenous 1000 lb (454 kg) female polar bear in his most recent foray into the wilderness. Mr Buchanan filmed the attack from inside a Perspex “ice cube” that he describes as “bomb proof” however, despite the safety of the box, he reports that the experience was... utterly terrifying!
