This is what we see in the best images of the year from #Wild2020: life in its purest form.” This is what Octavi Royo, the CEO of the photography app Agora had to say about the winning photographs of the competition the company held. Perhaps a walk in the wild, through photographs, is exactly what we need in these times of quarantining and social distancing.
The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers, giving a chance to gain recognition and cash prizes ranging between $1000 to $25,000. The winners were voted by the app’s global audience, with the photo ‘Need to Drink’ by the photographer cymot crowning him #Wildlife2020 Hero (the last photo on the list).
