The animal kingdom is full of amazing wildlife with a wide array of characteristics. They experience the world differently both from each other and from us. I have often wondered about the differing life-spans of all these creatures - can you imagine living only for a few days? Can you envisage living for centuries? I've put a list of 24 animals together in order of their life expectancy, and under each animal is a picture of one of us humans at that same age. How far down the list do you think mankind can go?
