The 2024 Ocean Photographer of the Year competition has once again delivered a breathtaking collection of images that capture the wonders of the world’s oceans. This year’s winning shots bring to life the beauty and mystery beneath the waves, offering glimpses of marine wildlife, surreal underwater landscapes, and rare moments in nature.

With over 15,000 submissions from talented photographers around the globe, the competition was fierce. Rafael Fernández Caballero took home the top prize with his stunning photo of a Bryde’s whale about to swallow a heart-shaped ball of bait.
