This old asylum area in Michigan was opened in 1885 but closed permanently in 1989. Some recent reconstruction of the buildings has turned it into a flourishing hotel, office and shopping center. It's amazing to see how they've turned all these dank and creepy areas into beautiful offices, shops and walkways. It's inspiring to see the design and solutions they come up with! |
