There's something just magical about black and white photography. Even the simplest of photos can look elegant or dramatic in black and white. If you’re a fan of black and white photography, you’ll love these photos from the 2022 Black and White Photo Awards. This is the first edition of the competition, which aims to celebrate the magnificence of monochrome photography.
The contest features such categories as Landscape, Portrait, Fauna and Flora, and Architecture, among others. A spectacular shot of a mother cheetah standing over her cubs on a grassy African plain was declared the “Absolute Winner” of this year’s competition. Other standouts include an image of devil rays swimming in the Mediterranean, a striking portrait of an elderly man, and a photo of England’s Great Ridge walkway.
