Meet Simon Brown and Katie Corrigan - two British artists based in the picturesque coastal town of Northumbria. Their lifestyle, as they do say themselves, is filled with "castles, cats and copious amounts of tea." Sounds pretty magical to me! And you can see this magic in their works. They create tiny forest animals with a needle felting technique, where the artist pokes loose felt into shape. They situate their creatures with used beaten-up brushes, and once the composition is ready it almost seems like these critters are about to jump out of the screen! In one word- lovely!
