I enjoy satirical social commentary, especially when presented in art form. I feel like a thought-provoking illustration will have a greater impact than a lengthy discussion, which is why I love the works of John Holcroft.
British artist John Holcroft has gained quite a reputation for his satire illustrations. His work was featured in the Economist, BBC, The Guardian, Financial Times and more. Born in Lancashire, Holcroft spent most of his childhood drawing and painting. His adult work touches on many subject that effect our lives, like the economy, the job market and much more.
