When Garth, an otherwise healthy man, was diagnosed with cancer, he did not believe that at the age of 40 it would get this bad. But after years of repeated attacks, his doctors have told him the horrible truth, that he has little to no chance of surviving more than a few more years.

The most horrible thing about that for Garth, has been leaving his daughter behind without her father. And so he decided to do the one thing he could to remind her daily of his love, and that is to accompany each and every lunch she has.
