California-based crafter Mary Kenyon is one such artist. Her inspiration? Seashells, which she uses to create decorative jewelry dishes that look like pieces of ancient treasure! Mary found her love of all things artsy from her father who was a talented oil painter and leather carver.
Take a look at her stunning vintage-inspired art designs which are made by decoupaging an image onto the shell's surface. She then completes the look by hand-painting decorative details using gold paint and adds three-dimensional embellishments like brass and colorful Swarovski rhinestones.
