Vera Shimunia is a Russian artist who has truly mastered the art of embroidery painting. Instead of using paints to create masterful landscapes, she uses her embroidery skills to create intricate scenes that really have to be seen to be believed.
Using a wide array of colors, her works seem to jump out the canvas, depicting big blue skies, deep blue seas, and autumnal forests in a variety of sizes. Scroll down to feast your eyes upon some of her fantastic work.
