Creating hyper-realistic animal artwork isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Shannon Mayhew excels at it. The self-taught artist from Iowa had an interest in drawing animals since she was a little girl. Before long, Shannon started learning different drawing techniques by reading tons of books from her local library and discovered she was really good at making hyper-realistic animal art.
