TIME Magazine's Tribute to Those We Lost in 2016

In 2016 the world said a sad but fond farewell to many historically significant men and women. This Time magazine video celebrates the lives of some of these individuals in their own words. As you watch this film and ponder the lives of these and other people you have admired and loved, take to heart the following immortal words of poet Alfred Lord Tennyson:
